Add a Spicy Aroma to Your Home

Summary: Since aerosol and solid air fresheners can irritate both lungs and budgets, a more natural method will create a more welcoming smell in your home. The all-natural aroma of cinnamon and cloves will eliminate odors from your house while leaving behind a delicious and spicy smell. Simmer these items in a cheesecloth in water for a simple air freshener with easy clean up.

Many ways exist to make your house smell delicious. You can use scented candles, aerosol spray cans, or any number of other products designed to help your house smell as good as it looks. Unfortunately, these methods can have drawbacks. Although there are some inexpensive store bought sprays and dissolving solids, these methods usually do little more than mask the odor with an unnatural scent. The more expensive odor-eliminating sprays sometimes work well, but their cost can be prohibitive.

A quick, cheap, and easy solution is to buy some cinnamon and cloves at your local grocery store. These products are common and inexpensive. All you have to do is take some of these items and put them in some water in a pan. You do not need to put too much of these ingredients into the mix together, but you can experiment to find an amount that creates the level of scent you like in your home. Turn your stove on low and let the mixture simmer. The mixture can continue to simmer and emit a delicious smell as long as there is water left in your pan. Using this method will make your house smell even more wonderful.

After you are finished letting the mixture simmer, cleaning up the pan can be a little difficult. If you do not want to deal with this hassle, place the spices into a cheesecloth bag before putting them into the water. This will make cleanup a breeze. And, just like the spices, such cloths are inexpensive and easy to find at your local grocery store.

One of the best things about using this method is that the scents are all-natural, with no aerosol propellants or fake scents. Many people react badly to aerosol spray. For those who sneeze every time they try to cover up a foul odor, this method is perfect. Even if you do not have such a reaction, guests in your home may not react well to aerosols, so this will be a nice courtesy for them.

This is wonderful. I have tried so many different things to make our home smell better. I have even bought the costly spray machines. They are fine as long as your sitting by them. I love your website. Thank You
