If you run across a store that still sells old-fashioned cloth diapers, pick up a package or two. They are incredibly useful when doing everyday cleaning chores. After trying these things just a couple of times, you will probably find yourself heading back to that store to pick up more. You may never want to use regular cloths to clean again.

Diapers are also very useful when trying to avoid water spots. When you are drying your car, you will probably find that regular cloths and towels leave it looking okay, but not great. Instead of using a towel, wipe the car down with a few diapers. This will help keep the car looking totally sleek and shiny. In any case where you are trying to remove hard water spots, finish up your cleaning routine with a diaper to clean up any hard water than may be left on your item. This will remove even the tiniest drops of hard water, leaving your surface perfect.

Diapers are also great for cleaning up spills on carpets. If you keep a diaper hidden but handy in any room of your house, you can quickly drop it on any spill on a carpet so the diaper can absorb the liquid before it gets beyond the surface of your carpeting. Diapers can blot up juice stains, pet messes, and even grease before they do any damage or dry up.

Diapers are not only for spills. They are extremely soft and delicate so as not to damage a baby's delicate skin. They make great soft cloths for buffing and dusting.
