You've tried cleaning up spilled wax with cleaning products, but that hasn't worked. Why? Because candle wax is not water soluble. Don't worry; with a little know-how, it's really a piece of cake to clean it up. The tips below are organized into four different kinds of surfaces that you may need to remove wax from.
Using heat or cold should remove wax every time. To avoid spills in the first place, use a snuffer to put out a candle instead of blowing it out. Don't move a candle while the wax is still hot. Use candle holders that are large enough to catch any spills or drips.
