Removing Watermelon Stains from Carpet
Ovens are one of those important kitchen items that no home can go without. While you could try to do all of your cooking in the microwave, the food just does not taste quite a delicious as a good home made meal that has been prepared in the oven. Like all appliances, the oven has a tendency to get dirty inside. Unfortunately, unlike most appliances, the oven is extremely difficult to clean out. Many ovens have a clean selection that will burn off all the excess items in there, but even those left over ashes can sometimes be difficult to wipe away. And if your oven does not have a cleaning function, cleaning can be almost impossible.
If your oven does not have the clean function, the method most people use to clean it out is with an oven cleaner. Just follow the directions on the back of the can. It mostly will consist of spraying the cleaner on to all dirty parts of the oven, and then letting it sit overnight. Then, in the morning, it is supposed to be very easy to clean out. I have had some bad experiences with the cleaner not working as planned. What is worse, oven cleaner can be dangerous to any other surface, including your skin. Be careful while spraying it on. It should make oven cleaning easier, but it still is not as easy as it could be.
If you want to make oven cleaning a real breeze, just try this handy trick. Every time you have a spill, just sprinkle a little salt onto it. You need to catch the spills before they bake on to the oven, otherwise to have to resort to one of the other cleaning methods. When you are through cooking, the stains will just be a pile of ash that you can wipe right out of the oven. Then you will not have to deal with either oven cleaner or that very hot "clean" setting.
