Clean Egg Messes Easily

Summary: Eggs are one of the most common cooking ingredients, but they spill at least a little almost all of the time. To easily clean up egg spills, all you need is salt. Just sprinkle a good amount of salt on any egg spill, and the egg will come right up instead of running away from the towel every time.

Eggs are one of the most common ingredients used in cooking. They can be eaten on their own, or they can be mixed into all sorts of mixtures to make the recipe work. The one annoying thing with eggs is that you use them while they are liquid inside. The shells also break fairly easily. So while you are using them to bake your latest cake, it is not too uncommon to spill a little egg on the floor while cracking it open. Something that also can happen that is even worse is you can drop the whole egg on the floor, which will crack virtually every time.

If you have ever tried to clean up one of these egg spills, you know how annoying it can be. When you wipe, the semi-solid mass has a tendency to move always from the towel. You basically need a barrier on all sides of the egg just to be able to wipe it up. Even then, the residue it leaves behind is slippery, and it takes a complete floor cleaning to be able to get that off the ground.

When you have decided that you are tired of cleaning up eggs in this manner, just follow this handy little egg cleaning tip. The next time the egg drops on the floor and breaks, just pour salt onto the egg spill. While salt on eggs is usually used for flavor over your morning meal, this time it will work wonders in cleaning up your mess. Let the egg with salt on it sit for about ten minutes. If you have any animals, you will probably want to keep them away, since they could be attracted to the raw egg on the floor.

After you have let the egg sit for those ten minutes, try wiping it away. You will be amazed how much easier it will be to clean up. The egg absorbs the salt comes together. Now all that work in cleaning up spilled egg will become a thing of the past.
