Laundry day can always entail a certain degree of stress and work. If you're like I am, then you usually wait until you really don't have too many clean clothes left, necessitating an intense day of washing machine and dryer usage. Laundry day can definitely be intense and it's always beneficial to look for ways to reduce the amount of work or stress as you clean your clothes.
One of the ways you can simplify your laundry days is to hang up your clothes before the actual laundry day. This particular technique aims to affect a more efficient way of cleaning. The problem with dirty laundry and hampers is that you put a bunch of dirty clothes together into a confined space. (If you are like some people you even push bunches of dirty laundry into the hamper.) This means that odors and even some of the stains could transfer from one piece of clothing to another, making your cleaning job all the harder.
To help solve this problem, take your clothes out of the hamper and actually hang them up to air out a bit, prior to doing the laundry. By allowing them to air out, you avoid some of the odor problems often present in dirty laundry. Also, hanging them up allows you to inspect them easier for stains you need to treat or minor mending that may need to be done. (It's better to discover these things before the clothes have been through the wash cycle.)
Laundry day may still be stressful and overwhelming at times, but there are ways to reduce the stress and the intensity of cleaning your clothes. If you try hanging your clothes before washing, then you'll reduce the amount of work you'll have to do and keep your clothes in better overall condition.
