Removing Lint from a Black Sweater

Considering how important first impressions are to everyone, you always want to look your best. In order to accomplish this, you always double check how you look anytime you are about to step out. As you do so, you notice that your favorite outfit is covered in lint. So how do you get rid of that stuff? Use one of these inexpensive and easy solutions solves this annoyingly recurring dilemma.

• The first solution is to get a lint roller. You can pick one of these up at any local store like Wal-Mart or Target. To use the lint roller all you have to do is hold the handle and roll the sticky rotating head over the material that you want free from lint. One of the drawbacks to this item is that the head is sticky, so you have to be a little careful in storing it. The head will collect just about anything and everything with which it comes into contact.
• For an item that will work quite effectively, and that has the added advantage of easy storage virtually anywhere, try using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. This pocket-sized item will only remove lint or other stuff when you rub the afflicted area with the eraser. This is something that requires a little more active participation than the roller method. Each pad can last you several months if only used for lint removal, with the added benefit of multiple uses for the erasers.
• The single most economic option is to use masking tape. For the cost of a roll of tape you have sixty yards of sticky material at your disposal. Simply wrap the tape around your hand a couple of times, sticky side out, and then rub your hand over the area that has the lint you want removed. This item also has the added bonus of being able to fit most places for storage, and not collecting stray detritus between uses.
